The Acoustic Doppler Point Flowmeter is a flow detection instrument for rivers, open channels and pipelines. It adopts ultrasonic detection technology, with high measurement accuracy, high stability, low influence by environmental factors, no rotating parts, low maintenance frequency and high working reliability.

It utilizes the Doppler effect, establishing a relationship between the frequency difference of transmission/reception and flow velocity. It also measures the time difference for liquid level detection and uses ambient temperature measurement to correct the speed of ultrasonic propagation.
